Luigi Crespo is a results-proven event planning, corporate etiquette and international protocol professional. He served as Director of Events and Protocol of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Agency for International Development. Luigi holds a Master of Arts in Public Communications from the American University. He also holds accredited certifications from the Protocol School of Washington® and the JMAR Institute of Protocol Studies.  Luigi is also an active member of the Protocol and Diplomacy International, Protocol Officer Association, the Society of Government and Meeting Professionals, the Network of Latino Meeting Professionals and the Washington Calligraphers Guild. Luigi is the Founder and Director of Crespo Events, LLC®, a Washington-based boutique firm offering savvy solutions to event and protocol challenges.  He recently founded the Meeting&Manners School®, where he conducts seminars and workshops on event planning, practical etiquette and international protocol.
